About us

At 404 Victoria Road at the top of 60 steps is an old three-storeyed house, which was built on a slope, is a quiet and peaceful facility run by the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The Missionary association was first set up in Jiangmen China. In the 1950s, it was assisted by the Maryknoll Fathers to set up in Hong Kong. The Sisters are dedicated to the serve those in need. They operate homes for the aged and the sick, nursery and secondary school.

Our Mission

The aim of this residential home is to provide board and lodging and nursing service for elderly ladies. These venerable and vulnerable ladies ranging in age from 60 to more than a hundred years old. There are two floors of residential units offering a maximum of 40 beds for the old ladies. There is a chapel and community hall on the ground floor where activities and birthday parties are held. Some of the more active old ladies do go to the rooftop to do exercise or admire the seaview.

 

The centre receives no subsidy from the Government and relies only on donation for it operation.
